The Diocese of Cancun-Chetumal has joined the Ecclesiared platform with the clear intention of taking an important step towards the digitalization of its parishes and thus achieve a more efficient and modern management of parish and administrative life.
With this decision, the diocese joins a growing number of Aztec dioceses that in recent years have been adopting this famous software (the Archdiocese of Leon, the Diocese of Coatzacoalcos, the Diocese of Irapuato or the Diocese of Ciudad Altamirano… among others) to help their parishes and improve the service to their faithful.
Ecclesiared is a comprehensive platform that allows parishes to take care of and protect all their sacramental records, have their finances organized, their statistics, keep their pastoral agendas up to date or even have the most important communication channel between parishes and Dioceses in the world today. However, parishes will also have many other advantages such as improving communication with their parishioners, among other functions. Thanks to this implementation, the Diocese of Cancun-Chetumal seeks to improve pastoral care, optimize resources and adapt to the Digital Era that the Church is living today.
According to diocesan sources, the objective is that, progressively, all the parishes of the diocese will adopt the tool, thus strengthening administrative unity and pastoral efficiency. This modernization will not only allow a better internal organization, but will also offer the faithful a more agile access to services such as certificates and sacramental procedures, thus reducing tedious waiting times.
This step represents a milestone in the modernization of the Church in Mexico, which, without losing its essence and evangelizing mission, adapts to new technologies to respond more effectively to the needs of the communities in the XXI century.
The digitalization of the Diocese of Cancun-Chetumal with Ecclesiared reinforces the commitment of the Church with a transparent, orderly and close management to the people of God.
