The Diocese of Acarigua-Araure goes digital with Ecclesiared

In a historic step toward modernization and administrative efficiency, the Diocese of Acarigua-Araure has announced the implementation of Ecclesiared software to improve the comprehensive management of all its parishes as well as that of the diocese itself.

With this decision, the Venezuelan diocese joins the growing number of ecclesiastical institutions around the world that are carrying out their digital transformation with Ecclesiared, a tool that strengthens the pastoral and administrative work of parishes. The software, which all parish priests will now be able to use, will not only allow them to digitize the information in their parish archives to locate and deliver records more efficiently, but will also help them protect the information stored in parish books, which unfortunately is deteriorating over time.

The digitization that the diocese led by Monsignor Gerardo Salas is carrying out with Ecclesiared represents a technological advance for the Bishopric and its parishes, but also a qualitative leap in the preservation of the documentary and historical heritage of the diocese and its communities, by allowing the digital storage of sacramental records and other documents of great value.

In the coming weeks, members of the Ecclesiared team will hold various training sessions with clergy, parish secretaries, and lay people who help in parishes. During these sessions, software experts will explain how the software works and its benefits, which have changed the lives of thousands of parishes around the world.

With this digital transformation, the Diocese of Acarigua-Araure joins other Venezuelan dioceses that have demonstrated in recent years that faith and technology can go hand in hand for the benefit of communities and the pastoral future of the Church.
