Within the framework of the Plenary Assembly of the Chilean Episcopal Conference, Marco Antonio Mora Jara, Country Manager of Ecclesiared, accepted the official invitation from the episcopal body to speak about the advantages and benefits that parish management software currently offers to Chilean dioceses and their parishes.
The 132nd Plenary Assembly of the Chilean Episcopal Conference, held at the Purísima Spirituality Center in Lo Vásquez (Santiago, Chile), not only served to reflect on the national reality and evaluate the main pastoral challenges facing the country, but also to advance the implementation of the Synod and review matters of economic and pastoral administration.
Marco Antonio Mora was invited to this meeting, which brought together all the bishops of Chile, to represent Ecclesiared and talk about the advantages of digitization as well as the benefits that the parish management program is currently offering to dozens of dioceses throughout the country.
In his speech, Mora spoke about how Ecclesiared has become a key tool in many dioceses and parishes, enabling them to improve pastoral administration and service to their faithful. As he acknowledged, “thanks to the software, processes such as sacramental management, the protection and preservation of parish archives, internal communication between parishes and dioceses, as well as other important aspects such as financial and pastoral matters, are being facilitated.”
Mora also highlighted the positive experience that dioceses already using the system have had in recent years, emphasizing Ecclesiared’s commitment to providing technical and training support to all ecclesial communities in the country. As he pointed out, “our goal is to put technology at the service of the Church, contributing to more organized, secure, and accessible management for all pastoral teams.”
“The Archdiocese of Puerto Montt, the Diocese of Villarrica, the Diocese of Calama, the Diocese of San Bernardo, the Diocese of Linares, the Diocese of Santa María de los Ángeles, the Diocese of Punta Arenas, the Prelature of Illapel… among other Chilean dioceses, have already digitized with Ecclesiared, and we are already in contact with the rest of the country’s dioceses to continue helping the bishoprics and their parishes to digitize and discover the advantages that the Digital Age of the Church is experiencing today,” he admitted.
The Church in Chile, a global example of digitalization
Ecclesiared’s participation in the Plenary Assembly reaffirms the Chilean Episcopal Conference’s commitment to digital modernization in the service of the Church’s evangelizing mission, making the Chilean Episcopate a global benchmark in areas such as digitalization, transparency, efficiency, and pastoral care for the country’s Catholic communities.
