Ecclesiared has announced a major upgrade to its parish management software, introducing a new feature that promises to significantly streamline the administrative tasks carried out daily by thousands of parishes around the world.
The new feature, as acknowledged by Ecclesiared’s CTO, Adrián Rodríguez, “will allow software users to automatically transfer all information from an entry in the Baptism Register to the Confirmation Register using a simple button labelled ‘Transfer information to Confirmations’”.
In this straightforward way, the individual’s details are immediately duplicated between the registers, thereby avoiding the need to manually re-enter all the information for someone who was baptised in the parish a few years ago and is now being confirmed.
This innovation represents a significant step forward in terms of efficiency, as it reduces the time spent on repetitive tasks and minimises potential errors arising from manual data entry. Indeed, parish officials will now be able to manage sacramental records more efficiently and accurately, saving time that is so vital for other pastoral duties.

How does it work?
To use this new feature, simply go to the Parish Registers module – specifically the Baptisms section – and search for the person in question. Once you have found them, you will see a yellow arrow icon in the actions panel, which allows you to transfer the information to the Confirmation Register.
