The Diocese of Talca has taken an important step toward modernizing its pastoral administration by launching its digitization process through the implementation of the Ecclesiared system in its parishes and at the Bishop’s Office. This decision represents a significant advancement in the internal management of its parishes, aligning with technological trends already adopted by numerous dioceses in the country and around the world.
With this implementation, the diocese’s parishes will be able to streamline their administrative tasks, reducing the time spent managing records and documents. This change will benefit not only parish staff but also the thousands of faithful who regularly visit their parishes in search of certificates and ecclesiastical documents, who will receive more responsive and efficient service thanks to digitization and this new technological era the Church is experiencing.
The Diocese of Talca’s adoption of Ecclesiared joins the digitization process already undertaken by many other dioceses in the country. It is worth noting that this system is currently used by most dioceses in Chile, establishing itself as a key tool for strengthening organization and pastoral service within the Church.
In the coming days, training sessions will begin for all diocesan clergy, with the aim of ensuring the system is implemented correctly and making it easier to use on a daily basis. These training sessions will be coordinated from Chile by Marco Antonio Mora, the Country Manager for the software in the country, who will support the technology adoption process in the diocese.
“The training sessions are designed so that clergy and parish teams can quickly familiarize themselves with the platform and take full advantage of all its features from day one. This not only facilitates the transition to the digital environment but also allows for improved service to the faithful, optimized work times, and ensures secure and orderly information management,” stated the Country Manager for Chile.
