Archdiocese of San José also goes digital with Ecclesiared

In a significant step towards modernisation and efficiency in church management, the Archdiocese of San José has announced its entry into Ecclesiared, the world’s leading parish and diocesan management system today.

The software, recognised for its excellence in both parish and diocesan administration, will provide the Archdiocese of San José and all its parish priests with an advanced tool to benefit from all the benefits of today’s Digital Church Age.

The digitisation of the Archdiocese with Ecclesiared is not only an important milestone for its parishes, but also represents the firm commitment of the Archdiocese and Monsignor José Rafael Quirós Quirós to embrace technology to care for and preserve the history of its parishes for life.

However, this will not be the only advantage that the system will offer to the Costa Rican archdiocese, since from now on, the parishioners of all its parishes will be able to see with their own eyes how the process of locating and delivering ecclesiastical documents will be simplified to the maximum, being able to have any certificate in just a few seconds in any parish of the Archdiocese.

In addition, Ecclesiared offers a comprehensive platform that includes not only functions for the administration of sacraments, but also other modules such as internal communication, database registration, sending newsletters…

The implementation of Ecclesiared in the Archdiocese of San José will take place in the coming weeks, with a dedicated team training church personnel in the effective use of the platform. This step represents an important advance in the modernisation of parish management and reflects the archdiocese’s commitment to adapting to current technologies to improve its service to the Catholic community.
