The Diocese of Daule has taken a very important step towards the modernisation and digitalisation of its parishes by joining the Ecclesiared platform, the parish and diocesan management software that helps parishes and dioceses to update and benefit from the advantages that technology offers today.
The entry of the diocese into the renowned platform marks a milestone in the management and preservation of the valuable history of the Ecuadorian diocese since from now on, both the parish priests and the faithful will benefit from the advantages that this programme currently offers to thousands of parishes and dioceses in more than 25 countries around the world.
Thanks to this tool, the parish priests of Daule will be able to search, locate and print any ecclesiastical document in their parish archives in just a few seconds. This will not only save time for the priests, but will also benefit the many faithful who come to the parishes in search of a document and who, until now, had to wait hours or even days to obtain it.
However, this will not be the only advantage enjoyed by the parish priests of the diocese led by Monsignor Krzysztof Kudławiec, since the platform will allow them not only to simplify administrative tasks, but also to promote and improve collaboration between the parishes of the jurisdiction through a communication channel that connects all the user parishes.
During these days, both the parish priests and the lay people who help in the different parishes of the diocese will attend various training days in which different Ecclesiared professionals will train the participants in the use of the tool to optimise the administration and communication in their parishes as well as to strengthen the pastoral work in the 21st century.
The digitisation of the Diocese of Daule demonstrates the firm commitment of the Ecuadorian Church to new technologies and to the conservation of its historical heritage.
