With the firm intention of improving the administration of its parishes and to enter the so-called Digital Era of the Church, the Diocese of Linares has announced its entry into Ecclesiared, recognized parish management software that helps thousands of parishes and dioceses around the world to enjoy the benefits of technology in these times.
With this decision, both the bishopric and the parishes of the Chilean region of Maule embark on a journey towards digitization that hopes to revolutionize the way in which archives are managed and service is provided to the faithful in each of their communities.
The implementation of Ecclesiared will not only allow the Diocese led by Monsignor Tomislav Koljatic to take full advantage of the benefits of technology to organize, care for and protect its parish archives. It will also mean a great advance in terms of efficiency, costs and security, making it easier for thousands of its faithful to access ecclesiastical documents such as a baptismal certificate or any other type of ecclesiastical certificate required in any parish.
In fact, important Chilean dioceses such as the Diocese of Villarrica, the Archdiocese of Puerto Montt, the Diocese of Santa María de los Ángeles, the Diocese of San Bernardo, the Diocese of Punta Arenas and others have already been digitizing in recent years thanks to the implementation of Ecclesiared software in their parishes.
The decision to go digital marks a milestone for the bishopric led by Monsignor Tomislav Koljatic on the road to a more updated and connected church. With technology as an ally, the Diocese of Linares is poised to move into the future as it continues to fulfill its important pastoral mission.
